Your castironbath.com new claw foot bath has a 15 year warranty in the internal vitreous enamel.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, such as dropping implements onto the internal surface, hitting the internal surface or cleaning with non approved cleaning products . The warranty does not cover natural wear and tear, natural ageing processes and does not cover damage caused as a result of water being left in the bath, or taps dripping onto the internal surface.

The warranty is in place to underwrite the integrity of the vitreous enamel for daily “specified usages”. As such your warranty underwrites that the enamel shall not delaminate from your bath as a result of the daily specified use of bathing, specifically the process of filling, bathing and draining your bath., will not interfere with the structural stability of your vitreous enamel.
